Hardscape Demonstrations Upgrade
Starting on Wednesday, October 19 - Friday, October 21
The Hardscape Demos will be held in the Hardscape House at the Kentucky Exposition Center on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and led by Local Roots Landscaping.
Patrick Murray and Kenneth Deemer are the Managing Partners of Local Roots Landscaping, A hardscape and landscape design, build, and maintenance firm based out of Pittsburgh, PA with six million dollars in annual revenue. Their passions lie in building teams, maximizing efficiencies, and empowering individuals to be the best versions of themselves in work and in their personal lives. Patrick and Kenneth are actively involved in the leadership of their own firm. The duo also speaks nationally to share their combined experience, and facilitate meaningful growth and change in green industry organizations.

Demo 2: Paver Installations | Wednesday, October 19, 3:30-4:30PM
Best installation practices for paver installations. Tips, tricks, efficiencies, and management of installations.
Demo 3: Hardscape Toolbox | Thursday, October 20, 9:30-10:30AM
We are going to explore the most important tools to reduce labor, expedite a job, and eliminate guesswork in your installation. There will be demonstrations of the tools on our build as we introduce them.
Demo 4: New Products and Ideas | Thursday, October 20, 12:00-1:00PM
Who’s new on the block? In this session we plan to explore new products, tools, and methods that are making waves (and saving backs) in the industry. We plan to cover everything from expensive tools to simple strategies.
Demo 5: Water & Fire Features | Thursday, October 20, 2:30-3:30PM
In this session we explore the products that have an extremely high impact on a project with a very low “cost per installed feature” and outstanding revenue.
Demo 6: Outdoor Kitchens | Friday, October 21, 9:30-10:30AM
In this session, we will demonstrate how to install yard enhancement options such as a grill island and an outdoor kitchen and show how to reach different markets for different budgets, better margins and best profits.
